Academic EM Opportunity in Aventura, FL - Seeking faculty with a proven interest in education for new allopathic Emergency Medicine Residency program established July 2016 in collaboration with the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.

Academic Sites:

Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey, part of the Atlantic Health System, established its EM residency program in 1978.

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey is a major teaching affiliate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School.

New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens in Flushing, New York residency program is fully accredited by the Residency Review Committee for Emergency Medicine of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, North Carolina launched its CUSOM/Southeastern Health Emergency Medicine Residency Program, approved by the American Osteopathic Association, in July 2015.

St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida offers the osteopathic Emergency Medicine Residency Program of the Palm Beach Centre for Graduate Medical Education (PBCGME).

Aventura Hospital in Miami, Florida offers an EM Residency Training program affiliated with the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University and Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Broward Health Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida has a Pediatric Residency Program at Broward Children’s Hospital, affiliated with the University of Miami School of Medicine, Florida International University and Nova Southeastern University.

North Broward and Broward Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida have a new EM Residency program planned to start in July 2019.

Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Florida (Tampa Bay area) will be starting a new EM Residency program with an estimated start date of July 2018.

Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon, Florida (Tampa Bay area) will be starting a new EM Residency program with an estimated start date of July 2018.

Coliseum Medical Center has a Residency program in Macon, Georgia.

CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital – Shoreline in Corpus Christi, Texas has an EM Residency Program affiliated with Texas A&M Health Science Center.
