**BRAND NEW HOSPITAL OPENS DECEMBER 2009**

The 19-bed ED has an annual patient volume of approximately 26,000 and is a Level III Trauma Center. All ED Nurses are ACLS Certified and are required to be CENs within two years. Area population is approximately 50,000 with service-area population of approximately 238,000. The Emergency Department is valued highly by the medical staff and hospital administration.

Community Description
This location affords the best of both worlds, five miles to beautiful Lake Texoma, 75 miles north of Dallas/Ft Worth and 120 miles south of Oklahoma City. Lake Texoma is an 88,000 acre lake with 580 miles of shoreline and offers year round activities including fishing, water skiing, sailing, scuba diving, and camping in the 43 area parks. The Denison Independent School District boasts testing scores above the state average and higher scores than state and national averages on SAT & ACT. Higher education in the Denison area includes Graysen County College, Austin College, and Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
