Vice President, Human Resources

Ms. Thornton was introduced to EmCare in 1994 and worked independently on several initiatives until 2001 when she formally joined EmCare. Ms. Thornton possesses a strong background in project management, software implementation, process improvement and training. As vice president she is primarily responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing national human resource (HR) strategies to support the Company’s Strategic Plan, operations, and EmCare’s Mission. Additionally, Ms. Thornton manages the operations of EmCare’s Management Services Department, which provides internal consulting and training for key operational roles within each region. She received a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University and holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
